We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong data and migration experience to join a data-focused project for a major telecommunications client.
This role sits at the intersection of business, development and data teams. You will help turn business needs into clear requirements, data mappings, business rules and validation criteria. This is a hybrid work opportunity – so you must be willing to work at least 2 days a week from our client’s Budapest office.
Responsibilities
- Gather, clarify and document business requirements
- Analyse business needs related to data migration and system integration
- Map source and target system data; define and align data mappings and transformation rules
- Prepare business rules, functional specifications, process descriptions and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, testers and data modellers
- Support the identification and resolution of data-quality issues, gaps and inconsistencies
- Contribute to testing, business validation and acceptance activities
Requirements
- Relevant Business Analyst experience in a complex enterprise environment
- Practical experience in data migration, data integration, reporting or data-quality projects
- Strong requirements-gathering, documentation and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to understand data structures, data relationships and business rules
- Structured, precise thinking and strong communication skills
- Fluent Hungarian and English language skills are mandatory
- Knowledge of the Google ecosystem is a mandatory requirement
Nice to have
- Experience in telecommunications or another large-enterprise environment
- Basic knowledge of data modelling, SQL or data querying
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working
